Review
Peter Bain is the developer and instructor of the ForexCourse.
The ForexCourse takes the trader through the basics of FOREX trading, while focusing on watching market trends, behavior and reactions to market news and events.
Mr. Bain bases his teachings on using Pivot Points to identify support and resistance levels, which signal entry and exit points into the market. This trading system, used by many trading houses, is designed to yield successful trading results.
The techniques taught in the course are tweaked and refined regularly as the market advances, and the examples brought forth are updated time and again to provide the most recent data possible.
Peter Bain teaches his trading system in live seminars and workshops to account and fund managers, bank traders and individual investors. He also manages the Forexmentor site, where members are offered daily reviews, daily Pivot Data, Trading Tips from other traders, Video Trading examples, and daily video Questions & Answers sessions with Peter Bain.
A few short videos are available free of charge on the site, allowing a preview of the course.
The full course package costs $495 and includes the following:
“How to Trade Currencies like the Big Dogs" manual;
"FOREX Supplementary" manual;
2 DVDs & 12 CDs, with over 20 hours of live instruction;
And 6 Months unlimited access to Forexmentor Member site;
Additional BONUSES include a detailed 150 page Workbook, free Mentorship program access for one year, FOREX Currency Trading examples from the past 8 months.
An online package is sold for $349, with all the materials accessible online.
A 30 day trial period is offered, after which materials can be returned and a full money back guarantee is promised (less shipping and handling costs).
While this course lays out valuable information, especially for the new trader, it doesn’t really teach anything that cannot be collected from other, free, resources. His examples and advice on trading teach how to read what happened in the past and what could have been done in hindsight, but do not really focus on predicting market trends and teach tools to execute the most profitable trades.
