Headquartered in London, UK, IQ Option has headquarters in Cyprus and Russia but has several international phone numbers so that traders can call locally to contact the company if desired. IQ Option offers traders low minimum deposits and high payouts as well as opportunities to win attractive prizes ranging from $250 to $500 in trading competitions organized by IQ Option.

The IQ Option website is straightforward and easy to navigate. It is available in English, Spanish, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish and Russian and goes out of its way to meet the needs of traders in the global community who are able to trade in their own language.

Accounts

There are 2 main accounts plus a demo account at IQ Option. The Real account starts with a minimum deposit of only $10 and $1 is sufficient to cover a trade. IQ Option guarantees up to 45% return for incorrect predictions and offers a bonus of up to 80% on the each deposit. The VIP account has a minimum deposit of $1000 and returns up to 60% if a trade goes in the wrong direction. All deposits receive a bonus of up 100%. Holders of the VIP account also receive a personal financial manager and a monthly analysis of their trading with the broker’s analysts. When doing this IQ Option review, a bonus of up to $1000 was being offered.

IQ Option offers a large choice of assets including Forex, equities, gold, and indices. The withdrawal process is guaranteed to be completed within 1-3 days.

When it comes to education, IQ Option offers a series of very interesting opportunities where registered account holders can participate in courses which include different trading strategies such as Japanese Candlesticks, Bollinger Bands, Trend Lines, Support and Resistance, Moving Averages and more. I was introduced to a very interesting new strategy—the Alligator—which gives market direction and periods of no trend and whose main goal is to determine the trend direction and its strength.

There are tournaments for traders to choose from to make extra money. When I did this IQ Option review, all the listed tournaments had expired but $40,000 in cash was offered for random deposit amounts. For example, a deposit of $2000 and over was eligible for a cash prize of $10,000.

Reliability

IQ Option is under CySEC regulation and is currently one of very few binary options brokers to hold such a license. This license should make traders feel more secure when depositing with IQ Option as the company adheres to strict standards of honesty and reliability.

IQ Option offers everything a trader needs for profitable binary options trading. The low minimum deposit is a great advantage as is the availability of a demo account which is both extremely rare and extremely welcome. The IQ Option website is clear and user-friendly. The deposit bonuses are some of the highest among binary option brokers, and the trading platform has reliable pricing and solid execution.

There are many interesting features at IQ Option including a wide variety of different assets for traders to choose from. The feature that IQ Option seems to be the most proud of is its a free demo account which appears prominently on the front page of the website. The demo is especially important for first-time, inexperienced traders who would like to try out binary option trading before committing any real funds.

Platforms

IQ Option offers a trading platform which hosts quotes by Thomson Reuters for precise quoting and the utmost reliability. The platform appears to be proprietary, which is a refreshing change in an industry where most platforms are extremely similar, if not the same.

Somewhat unusually for a binary options platform, close to 100 assets are available to trade. This is a very wide selection. At the top right of the screen there is a plainly visible tab that tells you exactly how many instruments have their markets open and are available to trade at the present moment, which comes in very useful. Clicking on the tab gives you a useful drop-down menu showing the details of all the currently available assets, the current profit payouts, and how much longer there is until the relevant market closes.

The platform is split into two modes: “Turbo” and “Binary Option”. In Turbo mode, you may trade options which expire 1, 2, or 3 minutes in advance. In Binary Option mode, you may trade options which expire up to 1 hour in advance. It is very suitable for people who like fast trading on short timeframes.

The trading mechanisms are simple, easy to use, and fairly intuitive: you select the size of the option you want trade, the time of expiry, and then there is a sliding scale where you allocate exactly how much you want to risk. The higher your risk, the higher your reward will be if the trade is a winner. When you hover your mouse over “Call” or “Put” an arrow appears on the chart to show the direction you are trading in, which is helpful. There are some other nice chart features that make it easy to understand exactly what is going on: a dotted vertical line is shown at the times that last possible trade and expiry will take place, as well as a timer countdown. Additionally, there are sounds made when you make a trade, and then different sounds are triggered when the option trade moves “in” or “out” of the money, so you can easily see whether the trade is going to be a winner or a loser at the current market price. Taken together, these features provide good safeguards against costly trading errors.

Shapes, lines, and indicators may be placed on the chart, and the price may be shown as bars, candlesticks or a moving line. It is safe to say that however you prefer your chart, and whatever kind of technical analysis you want to do, the platform can accommodate it easily.
